All this time, all I knew my heart was a plastic piece. Molded for display, shaped to glitter and shine, colored to out stand. All I thought was my heart was just a piece of artwork to be displayed on the walls of the world, posted at the very end where visitors could no longer see because they are too tired to search for the best. Never the less, they canvass and settle on the one they see first. They should be pitied because they never knew that the best was saved for the last.
By then, I knew no one could see my plastic heart. I was wrong. Too wrong. Someone walked and I could hear the tic-tac's of the heel. I thought she'd set her eyes upon my artwork. I could see her, so beautiful. Too sad to say, I could never set my fingers upon here dazzling skin, just like the way she sets her eyes upon my heart. Time stood still, she examined the painting carefully. Thoughts she'd set in.
Time flew like the wind, so quick to notice. She walked and passed by the painting.
